Post-Thanksgiving hike

OK, OK.... it;s been a LONG time since we updated anything. What can we say? It's been a crazy roller-coaster ride around here, and somehow the energy to revisit old times was lacking. Here is a series of updated posts which capture the major events since last Thanksgiving.

Dahrius, Ranier, and Ahrash decided to check out the nearby regional park/wilderness called Las Briones. It was chilly but beautiful, and the boys hiked like champions.

It was that time of year for California newts to be out and about, either heading towards or away from spawning ponds. Ahrash was wondering if we would get lucky and spot one, and there was one crossing the trail! We saw several more further along too. Lots of excitement all around.
