Re: first day of Kindergarten!!!!!!!

We can hardly believe it, but Dahrius just started Kindergarten!!! He was excited the very first day and has made new friends already and enjoys his teacher, Ms. Sandoval. Ranier, also just started preschool, and is having some trouble adjusting...but he is also having fun and discovering that "Mommy came back."

End of summer...

Just another lovely sunset from our deck. Below are the boys combing their hair to look SO handsome.





At the end of the summer, we went to the Sierras and had lovely weather, great hikes, fun in the river and lake, game-time at the cabin....and unfortunately we all got sick as well. Here is our "Gargoyle" hike.



We were joined for a couple of days by grandparents, Mina and Monty.

One day that I was sick, Ahrash and the boys hiked to a stunning waterfall, which apparently was Dahrius' favorite part of the whole trip.

Dahrius did some fishing in the lake with his new Spiderman fishing pole and did not catch any fish, but he DID spot a baby snake!
