We recently returned from Seattle and Vancouver and had a fun time visiting friends and family in the PNW. On our last day in Vancouver, the boys all climbed the bull statue and had a grand time. Before we left, I tried to discourage the pesky backyard squirrels from digging up our herb bed, so I "planted" some forks. Alas, those squirrels were not deterred one bit and still destroyed my baby herbs! GRRR!
We stopped off first in Seattle and stayed with friends, Jan and Marie at their "farm." There were lots of kids around and many blueberries and veggies to pick. A great time was had by all.

We took a little hike one day, and the kids all had fun climbing rocks, and logs, and stomping through the creek with their boots.

A special treat was meeting up with cousins Jeremy and Erin in Vancouver. It was raining that day, so we spent the afternoon in this incredible science museum.
While Ahrash conferenced downtown, the kids and I went to the aquarium. It was WAY too crowded for my taste, but we did see a baby beluga whale and a dolphin show!! It was very cool--the boys had a blast.
