Re: trip to Monterey!

We just returned from a fun trip to Monterey...piggybacking on a work trip for Ahrash. It was rainy much of the time, but we played at the beach between showers. WINDY!


Ranier was a bit scared of the waves, but not if he was being held. He liked playing a game riding on my back where we crept up to the waves, then would "RUN AWAAAAAAY!!" when they came in. Many laughs.

We also spent a lot of time (the 3 of us) at the aquarium while Ahrash was in his meeting. The kids had a great time, but it was tough to get many photos. I was mostly keeping track of both of them dashing off in different directions.

Fun at home

We celebrated Megan's bday at home. Ahrash made a great meal and we had a yummy carrot cake.
Dahrius had great fun with his friend, Avi. Here they were all coloring, and they thought it was OK to include Ranier...for now.

It seems every time I try to sit on the couch or lay down and rest...the children stop whatever they are doing to come sit or climb on me. At least this time I set myself up well for a back rub.
